I celebrated Chinese New Year.
It is so fun that you can get lots of money from your red packets.
We celebrated this festival by changing mandarin oranges and receiving red packets and visiting friends and relatives.
Other festivals like Hari Raya, Deepavali, Christmas etc are celebrated by other races. Malays celebrate Hari Raya, Indians celebrate Deepavali & all races celebrate Christmas.
Yes, these festivals strengthen racial harmony and we have public holidays, no need to work or go to school. Everbody like and enjoy and have funs on these holidays.
We can have more public holidays, then gather together and have peace and harmony regardless of race and religion to build a stronger bond among ourselves in Singapore.
